Chef Nia
Hana’ia Ma Kauhale Mai Ke Pu’uwai
Means “Homemade from the heart” my chef journey began cooking beside my mother at a young age in the kitchen. Growing up on the Hawaiian islands, there is a variety of foods, flavors, and traditions that come from different cultures infused all together and put on a plate.
My name is Nia, owner, and chef at Gourmet by NK located in san Jose, California, established since 2015. Today we offer private chef services, providing fresh cooked meals with quality ingredients from local farmers markets. These Fresh meals are then delivered to families and individuals all over the bay area.
Our meals are Traditional with a touch of modern!

Chef Red
Chef Red discovered his love for cooking at an early age, learning traditional techniques from his mother in the kitchen when he was just seven. This early start kindled a passion that has grown into a vibrant culinary career. Chef Red began his professional journey in Los Angeles, launching his own catering business in 2019, where he made a name for himself with creative, elevated dishes that celebrate his Filipino roots.
Known for his signature twist on Filipino classics, Chef Red is driven by a love for pork, coconut milk, and the unique flavors of his heritage cuisine. His dishes, like the Crispy Bicol Express and Lechon Kawali, are a blend of tradition and innovation, bringing together sweet, salty, and spicy elements that showcase the depth and richness of Filipino food.
Now at The Cats in Los Gatos, Chef Red’s mission is to introduce Filipino cuisine to a broader audience, sharing his passion and love for the flavors that define his culture. His menu features bold, authentic dishes, offering guests a chance to experience the true taste of the Philippines, with a modern twist.

Chef Brad
Chef Brad specializes in wellness cuisine, focusing on healthy, nutritious meals for families and professionals. He founded Nutrition Kitchen to create meal plans that support weight management and immune health. For nearly a decade, Chef Brad has helped clients achieve their wellness goals with his philosophy: “Eat Well and Eat Healthy.” Now, he brings his expertise to The Cats by ChefCentury, offering balanced, delicious meals to support a healthy lifestyle.
